Project Destined hosted its Bronx Championship, a high stakes competition where five teams comprised of local high school and college students presented real estate concepts reflecting their vision for the Bronx with developments including affordable, multi-family housing, mixed-use public spaces, a boutique hotel and reatil and fitness concepts, on Saturday, March 2.

The shark-tank style panel of judges included Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez, legendary baseball player and A-Rod Corp founder; Ric Clark, Brookfield Properties senior managing partner and chairman; Bough President Ruben Diaz, Jr.; Mark Tatum, NBA Deputy Commissioner and COO; Diana Olick, Emmy-award winning journalist and CNBC real estate reporter and Cedric Bobo and Fred Greene, Project Destined co-founders.

First place winning team Destined Development: Built by the Bronx. For the Bronx took home a WWE style championship belt.
