42nd Precinct
Friday, December 1 at 8:45 a.m. — Police got a report of a grand larceny in which a 29-year-old man informed police that his wallet, which contained a passport, debit card and credit cards were taken from his car that was parked in front of 422 E. 165th Street. After taking the wallet, the a black man with a slim build used the victim’s charge card to buy clothing from a discount department store at 700 Exterior Street. He was last seen wearing a Puma jacket, a black cap and red sneakers.
Tuesday, December 5 at 6:15 p.m. — A 13-year-old man was approached by three individuals in front of 3545 Third Avenue and one of the people displayed a knife and demanded the victim’s cellphone. The victim refused and two of the individuals held the victim down when another went into his pants pocket and removed his cellphone. The individuals fled northbound at 3rd Avenue.
43rd Precinct
Friday, December 8 at 4:55 p.m. — It was reported to cops that shots were fired at a victim in front of 1519 Watson Avenue. The first individual approached a 20-year-old man, who was a victim, and fired several shots at him and struck him twice in the legs. The individual, a black man has seen wearing a three-fourths length hooded coat that was fur-lined, then placed the firearm inside of the second individual’s backpack. Both individuals fled the scene northbound on Elder Avenue. The victim was removed to an area hospital in stable condition. The second individual was black man who was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket with a fur-lined hood.
45th Precinct
Saturday, December 10 at 5:30 a.m. — Police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious child inside of 758 Quincy Avenue. Upon arrival, officers observed a two-month-old girl who was both unresponsive and unconscious. The child was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where she was pronounced deceased. The Medical Examiner is investigating the cause of the child’s death.
46th Precinct
Monday, December 11 at 9:02 a.m. — Cops responded to a 911 call about an injured man inside of 2090 Morris Avenue. Upon their arrival at the scene, they found a 61-year-old man who was unconscious and unresponsive with multiple stab wounds to the body. EMS also responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene. There are no arrests at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
