TUES, SEPT. 22nd, 6:30 a.m. – 237 Willis Ave. A 42 year old Hispanic woman was rushed to Lincoln Medical Center. The woman apparently jumped from the building’s roof. The incident is under investigation by authorities.
TUES, SEPT. 22nd, 3:25 p.m. – Willis Ave. and East 146 St. Authorities are looking into a double shooting that claimed a life. Police Dept’s sleuths looking into the incident indicated that a woman lost her life after being shot in the head. A male was treated at Lincoln Medical Center for a bullet wound to the left leg. Additional police officers were redeployed into the area after the shooting had occurred.
WED, SEPT. 23rd, 9:15 a.m. – 661 Cauldwell Ave. Authorities are looking into the demise of a teenage girl. The death of a Caucasian 16 year old was deemed not suspicious by officials from both the police department and the Medical Examiner’s officer.
WED, SEPT. 23rd, 4:10 p.m. – East 155 St. and Union Ave. Another male teenager was arrested for illegal possession of a firearm. This time a black 18 year old teen was taken into custody as police recovered a 32-caliber pistol.
THURS, SEPT. 24th, 9:20 a.m. – 350 East 143 St. Additional police officers were deployed into the area after shots had been fired. A search of the area was conducted with the additional officers assisting. Authorities indicated that no one was reported inured while search also indicated that there was no property damage.
SAT, SEPT. 26th, 12:40 a.m. – 303 East 158 St. The staff at Lincoln Medical Center treated a male who was transported to their facility seeking help. The 36 year old Hispanic male expired despite the effects of the hospital staff to assist the injured man. Now detectives are faced with a homicide inquiry.
SUN, SEPT. 27th, 9:30 p.m. – East 146 St. and College Ave. Authorities are overseeing an inquiry into a double shooting. Arriving police officers found two victims upon their arrival. The first victim was suffering from a bullet wound to the left hand while the second was suffering from a wound to the back. Both males received treatment at Lincoln Medical Center as local sleuths started their inquiry.
TUES, SEPT. 29th, 10:50 a.m. – 338 East 145 St. Police officers were able to save the life of a Hispanic man. The Latino male, in his twenties, was sitting on the edge of the roof threatening to jump. Specially trained police officers were able to gain custody of the man and took him to Lincoln Medical Center for assistance.
41st PCT.
THURS, SEPT. 24th, 9:00 a.m. – 912 Kelly St. Area residents were nervous after they learned that police were summoned to look at a suspicious package that was on the sidewalk. Since no one had any knowledge of the item, so local police officers played it safe and summoned units from the Emergency Service Squad to the scene. After a closer look, it was deemed that the package was not suspicious and calm returned to the community.
FRI, SEPT. 25th, 3:50 a.m. – 1315 Lafayette Ave. A search was conducted for three Hispanic males. The trio apparently kicked in an apartment door. Once inside the home, they asked for the money. The trio fled with a cell phone among other property. A victim was treated at Lincoln Medical Center for a head laceration.
SAT, SEPT. 26th, 1:40 a.m. – 716 Beck St. A 30 year old Hispanic male was arrested after being found along with a 38-caliber revolver.
SAT, SEPT. 26th, 1:40 a.m. – Southern Blvd. A male suspect was arrested as police vouched another handgun. This time a 38-caliber revolver was recovered by undercover police officers.
TUES, SEPT. 29th, 10:10 p.m. – Tiffany St. and Intervale Ave. One suspect was arrested as police recovered another 45-caliber pistol.
42nd PCT.
WED, SEPT. 23rd, 12:05 a.m. – 1000 Trinity Ave. A 17 year old boy ended up in jail after being arrested for possession of an illegal handgun. The Latino teen was in possession of a 380-caliber pistol when arrested. The weapon was vouched for future court use.
TUES, SEPT. 29th, 2:40 a.m. – 899 East 169 St. Two males were arrested by a local patrol officer. With the arrest, police recovered a 9-mm semi-automatic pistol. The weapon was vouched for future court use.
43rd PCT.
WED, SEPT. 23rd, 12:40 a.m. – Olmstead and Chatterton Aves. Police are looking into a stabbing that sent a black male to Jacobi Medical Center. Detectives from the local precinct will handle the follow-up inquiry.
FRI, SEPT. 25th, 3:45 a.m. – 1065 Manor Ave. Police investigators from the Special Victims Unit are looking into an incident where a 1 year old girl was injured. The Hispanic infant had burn marks to both feet. The baby’s mother indicated that she given the baby a bath, but the water was too hot. The baby was treated at Jacobi Medical Center.
SUN, SEPT. 27th, 3:10 a.m. – 1590 Metropolitan Ave. Police were informed that several shots had been fired. Responding officers indicated that there were no injuries reported. Evidence was recovered at the scene.
44th PCT.
SAT, SEPT. 26th, 1235 a.m. – Teller Ave. and East 167 St. Police nabbed another person who failed to obtain a license for carrying a handgun. This time a 22 year old black male was taken into custody after being found with a 25-caliber pistol.
SAT, SEPT. 26th, 12:40 a.m. – 1460 College Ave. A one month old baby was taken to Bronx Lebanon Hospital not breathing. Upon arrival it was determined that the infant had died. However, officials indicated that there were no signs of trauma on the infant’s body.
SUN, SEPT. 27th, 9:30 p.m. – Jerome Ave. and Goble Pl. Authorities are looking into the death of a black male. The male victim had been stabbed during an attack. The culprit fled before police could arrive at the crime scene.
46th PCT.
FRI, SEPT. 25th, 12:30 a.m. – 2205 Walton Ave. Police were held at bay by two Hispanic males. The two Latino male were involved in a dispute causing police to be alerted by neighbors. Upon arrival of local police, the two males refused to open the door for the responders. Afterwards, once police gained entry, both males were arrested.
SAT, SEPT. 26th, 8:30 a.m. – Tiebout Ave. and East 188 St. Three police officers were transported to St. Barnabas Hospital after being injured in a vehicle crash. The officers were transporting a police officer to a hospital for prisoner guard duty when their police vehicle was struck by a minivan. The driver of the second vehicle was also provided with medical care.
SUN, SEPT. 27th, 2:00 p.m. – Jerome Ave. A local detective arrested a male who was in possession of an illegal gun. Recovered from Bronx streets was a 38-caliber revolver.
47th PCT.
TUES, SEPT. 22nd, 1:00 a.m. – Authorities are looking for three males who at knife point raped a female victim. The male culprit escaped prior to police investigators being notified of the incident. Now detectives are looking for the three culprits.
TUES, SEPT. 22nd, 3:10 a.m. – 1458 Hicks Pl. Authorities are looking for two males who invaded a home and made off in the victim’s vehicle. Police were informed that two unidentified males wearing masks had tied up the victim after entering the apartment. The occupant was pistol whipped during the attack. The two culprits fled with over two thousand dollars in cash besides a Range Rover SUV.
SAT, SEPT. 26th, 9:50 p.m. – 4316 Wickham Ave. Three bullet shells were recovered by responding police officers. Officials were informed that shots had been fired and responded. The bullet shells will be used as evidence.
SUN, SEPT. 27th, 6:40 a.m. – White Plains Rd. and East 216 St. Authorities are looking into a stabbing. A black male required medical attention for stab wounds to the back, arm, and also the shoulder area.
MON, SEPT. 28th, 12:50 p.m. – 748 East 224 St. Authorities believe that a man who body was discovered might have died from a drug overdose. The victim was believed to have lived in lower Westchester County.
48th PCT.
TUES, SEPT. 22nd, 11:10 a.m. – Cross Bronx Expwy. and Washington Ave. Two young males were arrested after police found them in possession of an unregistered handgun. Taken into custody were 22 year old Bernard Miles and William Perez, age 20. Recovered by the arresting officer was a 45-caliber gun.
TUES, SEPT. 22nd. 9:00 p.m. – 7 West Farms Square Plaza. Three black males were arrested by responding police officers. The triple arrest was made in relationship to a home invasion.
TUES, SEPT. 22nd, 11:35 p.m. – 1918 Daly Ave. A 28 year old black male was arrested by local police officers. The man was nabbed while in possession of an unregistered handgun. Taken off the streets was a 45-caliber gun.
WED, SEPT. 23rd, 9:00 p.m. – 2405 Southern Blvd. Authorities believe that a 35 year old man had taken his own life. When found, the victim was suffering from a bullet wound to the head. Other evidence was recovered at the scene by investigators.
WED, SEPT. 23rd, 11:20 p.m. – Washington Ave. and East 178 St. A suspect was arrested as local police officers recovered another illegal gun. This time a 45-caliber pistol was vouched.
SAT, SEPT. 26th, 4:15 a.m. – 1016 Bronx Park South. A gunpoint home invasion by four males caused injury to one of the victims. Four male culprits invaded the home tiring up two female victims besides two male victims. One of the females was burned on the arm with an iron by their attackers. The perpetrators fled with a small amount of money besides electronic equipment.
SAT, SEPT. 26th, 8:45 a.m. – 2037 Hughes Ave. A search was conducted for a missing eight year old boy. The child’s mother went to the store, leaving the boy home alone. Upon returning, the boy was reported missing. Police were called and a search was instituted.
MON, SEPT. 28th, 12:25 p.m. – 601 East Tremont Ave. Additional police officers were dispersed into the community to help locate a black male who attempted to rob a local bank. The unidentified male passed a note to a teller who refused to give the man any money. The bandit fled empty handed.
TUES, SEPT. 29th, 11:20 a.m. – 500 East 184 St. The staff at St. Barnabas Hospital assisted a 38 year old man who came knocking at their door looking for help. The 38 year old black male walked into the hospital seeking medical attention for multiple stab wounds. Responding police officers were able to obtain sufficient information that is lead to the arrest of a suspect and the recovery of a knife that was used in the attack.
TUES, SEPT. 29th, 5:50 p.m. – Crotona Ave. and East 183 St. A 47 year old man was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital. The man was riding a bike when he was struck by a mini-van. The victim was reported to be in critical condition. An investigation is under way.
49th PCT.
SAT, SEPT. 26th, 5:25 a.m. – Authorities are looking into a report that a young woman had been sexually attacked. The female victim told investigators that she had been raped in an alleyway. The victim was taken to Jacobi Medical Center for specialized care.
MON, SEPT. 28th, 3:55 a.m. – 2260 Olinville Ave. Police investigators are conducting an inquiry into a shooting that left a 29 year old Hispanic male with a bullet wound to the right thigh. The injured man was transported to Jacobi Medical Center for treatment. The man upon being questioned about the event provided investigators with different stories.
52nd PCT.
TUES, SEPT. 22nd, 5:25 p.m. – Jerome Ave. and West Kingsbridge Rd. The staff at St. Barnabas Hospital’s Emergency Room treated a 17 year old Latino male who had been attacked. The teen, on his way home from a high school, was attacked and stabbed by two unknown males. The victim was reported to be in stable condition.
WED, SEPT. 23rd, 9:05 a.m. – 2526 Valentine Ave. Authorities are investigating an apparent assault on an infant. The baby was first transported to St. Barnabas Hospital and later on transferred to Cornell Hospital in Manhattan. The infant was apparently assaulted by one of its parents. The inquiry is underway by specially trained investigators.
THURS, SEPT. 24th, – 73 East Kingsbridge Rd. A search is underway by detectives for three Hispanic males. The trio entered a store displaying a gun. The culprits fled with two hundred dollars in cash. No injuries were reported.
SAT, SEPT. 26th, 1:30 a.m. – Perry Ave. and East 207 St. A teenager walked into Montifiore Hospital seeking help for a bullet wound. Suffering from a bullet wound to the back, the 18 year old Latino was reported to be in stable condition. Local detectives will handle the inquiry.
SUN, SEPT. 27th, 1:20 p.m. – Authorities are looking into an incident where several shots had been fired. Arriving police officers recovered evidence indicating that at lease five bullets had been discharged. No injuries were reported.

TUES, SEPT. 29th, 11:20 p.m. – 1368 Webster Ave. A 22 year old black male was arrested by police officers from Housing’s PSA # 7. The young man will be facing illegal possession of a firearm charges. Recovered during the arrest was a 44-caliber revolver.
