The Bronx Economic Development Corporation (BXEDC) and the Northwest Bronx Community and Clergy Coalition (NWBCCC) seek business owners and residents to participate in planning the borough’s economic future.
The BXEDC is excited to have received a grant that offers an incredible opportunity to positively influence many aspects of the borough. We want your input on what should be prioritized.
In order to hear from you directly, the organizations will co-lead assemblies where participants can voice their concerns about the challenges faced in everyday life. There are no requirements or necessary expertise to join; the organizations are already consulting with experts in labor and education as well as elected officials. You just need to be a resident of the Bronx!
Bringing together people from across the Bronx, with many perspectives and experiences to create a unified vision will help us to strongly advocate for what we deserve. By joining us, you are showing up as a powerful leader whose voice will contribute in numerous ways to shaping a better Bronx future.
The assemblies will be hosted at the following days and times. Information on the exact locations of each assembly can be found by visiting linktr.ee/bxassemblies, where you can also register to participate. Attendees are open to all Bronx residents, not just residents of the area where the meeting is held.
Wednesday, April 30, from 6-8 p.m. in the Northwest Bronx
Saturday, May 17, from 12-2 p.m. in the Northeast Bronx
Saturday, June 21, from 12-2 p.m. in the Southeast Bronx
Wednesday, July 16, from 6-8 p.m. in the Southwest Bronx
