Local Police Athletic League children celebrated Women’s History Month on Friday, March 31 with an art showcase at the Webster-Giannone Center on 2255 Webster Avenue.
Children from kindergarten through eighth grade displayed artwork honoring women of the past and present who have made significant accomplishments in everything from pop culture to the scientific field.
Participants also gave a crowd-pleasing musical performance to close out the event.
