Victory was a sweet treat for the Carol Ann Behrendt Red Hawks Cub Scouts Pack 162 who celebrated their annual Blue and Gold Banquet on Sunday, March 26 at Holy Rosary Church’s Fr. Winters Hall.
In honor of the Cub Scouting program’s birthday, Pack 162 scouts created super hero-themed birthday cakes while competing in a bake-off.
Troop 162 took the Boy Scout Pledge and received certificates for their community service.

This year’s winners were first place champion Lucas Agis’ ‘The Last Stand’, second place victor Lucas Quintana’s ‘Captain Underpants and third place honoree Thomas Neal’s Thor’s hammer Mjölnir.
Joseph Thompson (r), 49th Precinct Community Council president, conferred a special commendation to Pack 162’s Rob and Angela Rico.
