P.S. 55 Reviews Marvel’s Black Panther

P.S. 55 teamed up with the Bharati Foundation for a morning of empowerment on the importance of community and culture while engaging in a discussion and movie review of Black Panther with special guest speaker Jason Laidley, Senator Jamaal Bailey’s chief of staff. Over 200 fourth and fifth graders were in attendance and a special performance was done by Jungle, a member of ‘It’s Showtime NYC!,’ a program of Dancing in the Streets, based in the south Bronx.
