The Mural Arts Project, an initiative led by the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, hosted an event at VIP Community Services on Tuesday, March 21 where muralist Tova Synder presented her draft design for a mental health mural to be installed at C.S. 211.

Members of the public were encouraged to give constructive criticism to improve Tova’s draft designs.

Participants will be able to collaborate on the mural during a Community Paint Fest on Saturday, May 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at VIP Community Services’ Parking Lot Facilities on 1870 Crotona Avenue.
