Montefiore’s Wakefield Campus welcomed over 200 local children who brought their teddy bears and other stuffed animals to its Teddy Bear Hospital on Saturday, May 20 to undergo mock triage, medical exams and x-rays by doctors, nurses and other clinical staff.
The children toured the Wakefield Campus Emergency Department, explored an ambulance and received important safety tips from the FDNY.
