Twenty-three high school teams from the tri-state area competed for academic scholarships and technology prizes in Monroe College’s first annual Tech Challenge on Saturday, April 30. Students collaborated in three-person teams to complete one of four challenges including creating an app to serve a specific, practical purpose; upgrading a website to make it more dynamic and exciting; a robotics competition and applying cyber-security protocols to protect against a specific action.
