The Mind-Builders Creative Arts Center held its annual Open House Street Festival on Saturday, September 12 at their 3415 Olinville Avenue location offering guests the chance to learn more about the arts and showcasing performances by students. Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie and Councilman Andy King were present at the event during which the assembly speaker announced he would have the state fund $7,500 to cover repair and renovation efforts for the Mind-Builder’s building.
