Man Killed On Cross Bronx Expressway

Police are investigating a fatal hit and run on the Cross Bronx Expressway. According to police, a man was walking on the northbound lane near Castle Hill Avenue on Sunday, May 28 at around 2:30 a.m. when he was struck by a semi-truck. The man was pronounced dead on arrival by first responders. He was struck by an unknown number of vehicles following the initial collision. The drivers of the tractor trailer and other vehicles fled the scene. Police are investigating the accident as a hit and run.
