Madison Square Boys and Girls Club celebrated the grand opening of their new state-of-the-art Tween Recreation Room at the Columbus Clubhouse last Wednesday, March 30. Made possible through the generous donation of longtime supporters Glenn and Gina Giordano, more than 100 youngsters will be able to enjoy this newly renovated space which includes upgraded lighting, wireless installation, new tables and chairs, a video gaming system, store unit, vibrant wall murals, board games, large screen video monitor, iPads, sound dampening ceiling panels and large table games such as billiards and table tennis.
Antonio Marte, who attended the Boys and Girls Club as a youth, painted the awe-inspiring murals adorning the new recreation room’s walls.
