Kingsbridge Octavitas Parranda History Workshop & Singing Practice

The Kingsbridge Octavitas Parranda History Workshop and Singing Practice was held on Friday, January 13 at St. James Recreation Center. The event was held the day before the inaugural Kingsbridge Octavitas Parranda on Saturday, January 14. Octavitas is one of the final celebrations during the Puerto Rican holiday season involving ‘parrandas’ in which neighbors go door to door in the middle of the night to sing Christmas carols.
