On Saturday, September 28, ’Hip Hop Boulevard’ was the location of two anniversary celebrations – the 46-year anniversary of hip hop and the 50-year anniversary of the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club. The co-celebration took place at 1520 Sedgwick Avenue, a stretch of Sedgwick Avenue that was officially co-named ‘Hip Hop Boulevard’ in 2016.
