Healthfirst and its community partners hosted its annual ‘Health and Wellness Expo’ series on Saturday, June 18 at the Claremont Healthy Village located at the Gouverneur Playground. Bronxites enjoyed the Health and Wellness Pavilion which featured free health screenings, prizes and giveaways, fresh smoothie samples as well as fitness and Zumba workshops. The Kids Zone offered face painting and live entertainment from the New Yrk Aquarium, Prospect Park Zoo and the Brooklyn Museum.
Healthfirst members were on-site to promote healthy lifestyle choices and dietary habits.
