Google and Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie visited Cornerstone Academy Middle School on Thursday, November 17 to deliver the CS First Roadshow, a computer science education presentation developed by Google for fourth through eighth grade students.
Two Google employees gave the hour-long presentation teaching students problem solving and technical coding skills through a series of interactive activities.
Assembly Speaker Heastie discussed the importance of learning computer science at an early age and helped students create stories using the coding tool, Scratch.
