FreshDirect, KForce representatives and other community volunteers partnered with the South Bronx Youth Leadership Council and NYC Housing Authority on Wednesday, April 12 for SBYLC’s Community Unity ‘Green Day’ event at East 135th Street and Brook Avenue.
The Green Day event featured a community clean-up including tree maintenance on Brook Avenue where FreshDirect and SOBRO provided new tree guards, gardening and mural art projects.
