First Responders’ Families Throw Out 1st Pitch

Answer the Call’s 33rd annual Mets Game and Family Day Picnic was celebrated on Wednesday, July 19 at Citi Field.

The families of recently fallen first responders police officer Miosotis Familia, FDNY chief Michael Fahy, sergeant Paul Tuozzolo and detective Joseph Lemm were afforded the opportunity to stand on the field and throw the first pitch as part of the pregame proceedings.
