For over 35 years, Dr. Dominick Senzamici has been a trusted figure in Bronx healthcare, providing chiropractic care to residents suffering from persistent aches, body pains, injuries, and trauma. Now, his son Matthew Senzamici has joined the family practice, bringing a new generation of expertise to their Middletown Road office.

Dr. Dominick Senzamici, who was born and raised in the Pelham Bay area, graduated from St. John’s University with a bachelor’s degree in biology before earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College in 1989. Since then, he has been dedicated to serving his community, offering treatments for conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, work and sports injuries, and headaches.

Matthew Senzamici, following in his father’s footsteps, recently completed his chiropractic education and joined the practice. Matthew studied exercise science at the University of Plattsburgh, where he graduated with cum laude honors, and later earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Bridgeport, also graduating with cum laude distinction.

The Senzamici practice, located at 2949 Middletown Rd., treats patients with a wide range of issues including neck, back, arm, and leg pain, automobile trauma, and sports injuries. Their approach focuses on traditional chiropractic techniques that enhance the body’s natural healing abilities rather than relying on medications like aspirin and Tylenol.

“Medicine will only maintain your pain for a couple of hours – it does not completely treat the symptoms and can actually produce negative effects,” Dominick told the Bronx Times.

Their services include chiropractic examinations, adjustments and manipulations, spinal and postural screenings, stress reduction therapy, acupressure, and conditioning exercises. The practice also treats children with injuries, ensuring that untreated issues do not lead to developmental problems later in life.

For Dr. Dominick Senzamici, being able to give back to his hometown has been a dream come true. “It is very gratifying to know that I can help service the community with my natural healing techniques,” he said. “I’m thrilled to be in a position where I can relieve people of all ages [along with my son] who have pain and don’t know where to begin when it comes to receiving treatment.”

With the addition of Matthew to the team, the Senzamicis are eager to continue their mission of improving the lives of Bronx residents through chiropractic care—naturally and holistically.
