Local elected officials and community members wished 87th Female District Leader Julia Rodriguez well during her 90th birthday celebration on Saturday, January 28 at Holy Family Church’s Mechler Hall.
The longtime district leader received praise and proclamations from Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr.; Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie; Senator Ruben Diaz, Sr. and Senator Jeff Klein.
Birthday girl Julia Rodriguez was delighted to receive flowers and a larger-than-life birthday cake commemorating her remarkable milestone.
