On Friday, February 16, Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. and The Shadow League co-hosted a screening of Marvel Studios’ ‘Black Panther,’ for volunteers from the Bronx Youth Corps and Bronx Fathers Taking Action group. The move is based off of the comic book series created by the iconic Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, and has far exceeded box office expectations.

Raking in $704 million worldwide, Black Panther is already the fifth-highest grossing Marvel Comic Universe film ever.
