Cops looking into bloody, fatal stabbing in south Bronx

Police are looking into a bloody homicide that happened in the south Bronx last night.

Officers followed a trail of blood into an apartment on Tinton Avenue within the confines of the 40th Precinct. Once inside, cops discovered a 32-year-old man with a stab wound to his abdomen, at about 7:58 p.m., according to NYPD reports.

That grisly crime scene also had blood splattered walls as EMS workers rushed in to transport the stabbing victim to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

While no arrests have been made at this time, a person of interest is now in police custody, the NYPD confirmed.

No motive has been determined at this time.
