The City Island Chamber of Commerce toasted several exemplary local leaders at its 107th Dinner Dance on Saturday, November 18 at Pelham Split Rock Golf Course.

This year’s honorees included Catherine Scott Achievement Award for 20 Years or More in Business recipients Joe Burck, JJ Burck Hardware and Marine, Susan Hayes and Donna McGowan, City Island Diner and Elliot and Monica Glick, Starving Artist Gallery; Tom Ceretta Ceremony Service Award recipient Councilman James Vacca; Sam Bierman Business and Community Service Award recipient Chris Cullen, The Island Current; The Community Service Award recipient Masonic Temple and New Business Award recipients Andrew McGuire, City Island Laundromat, Robert A. King, architect and Teddy Pryor, attorney.
