Emergency Medical Technicians and paramedics held a candlelight vigil on Friday, March 16 to mark the one-year anniversary of their colleague Yadira Arroyo who was killed when a man carjacked her ambulance and ran her over in Soundview. The somber memorial event was held at the intersection of White Plains Road and Watson Avenue, the site where Arroyo was fatally struck.
