Friends of Devoe Park’s Art Workshop: 2 p.m-6 p.m. at Devoe Park

Get creative as art, culture and nature come together in this outdoor workshop. The Friends of Devoe Park presents an event that encourages creativity while also bringing more arts and culture to the park and its visitors. As a bonus, approximately 10 children from the Bronx will receive a “paint and arts” bundle to learn how to paint and take home their best visions of Devoe Park — for all the young creators out there. The Friends of Devoe Park were organized in 2017 by the community engagement program Catalyst (of the City Parks Foundation). Through art, they have stayed true to their motto “Devoted to Devoe Park.”

Note: In case of inclement weather, rescheduling for this event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 16.
