Bronxites wishing to view the historic solar eclipse traveled to different parts of the borough to witness this once in a lifetime phenomena.
On Monday, August 21, residents converged onto the Pelham Bay Library, Van Cortlandt Park and St. Barnabas Hospital’s campus to safely view the maximum eclipse at 2:44 p.m.
The next solar eclipse is scheduled for Monday, April 8, 2024.
