The Bronx Rotary Club celebrated Women’s History Month’s conclusion last Tuesday, March 29 at Sammy’s Shrimp Box by establishing the Beatrice Castiglia-Catullo Award in honor of its first recipient and namesake, Beatrice Castiglia-Catullo. The award which became a necessity by the organization to honor Rotarian Catullo’s centennial birthday will now be presented annually to the Bronx Rotarian who best exemplifies its humanitarian principles.
