Bronx Art Featured In PAL Calendar

Artwork by Bronx children Timisha Laurent and Tyrone Brown were featured in the Police Athletic League’s 2017 calendar which showcases work created by children from PAL centers across the five boroughs.

The two young artists participated in PAL’s P.S. 47 Center at 1794 E. 172nd Street where they learned about indigenous people of the world’s history and cultures.

Laurent’s Inuit illustration is featured for the month of January while Brown’s Mayan artwork appears for the month of June.
