In honor of Bronx Week, Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. and his Veteran Borough President Veteran Advisory Council co-hosted the Veterans Appreciation Breakfast on Monday, May 13 at Maestro’s Caterers. The event honored Max Bendich, a 104-year-old U.S. Army veteran of World War II, U.S. Navy veterans Vicki Bello and Arthur Grabiner, U.S. Army veterans Angel Bosques, Cedric Smith, Tashany S. Myers and sergeant first class Julio A. Rosas.
