Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. office hosted a health fair at Soundview Park on Saturday, July 18 to launch the newest Bronx CAN Health Challenge. The short term goal of the initiative is to have participants make healthier choices with the current fast food options available. The long term goal is to alert the marketplace of the high demand for healthier food businesses in Soundview and across the borough. During the health fair, residents enjoyed health screenings, healthy food, child friendly activities, music, and giveaways.
