On Saturday, December 19, Baldor Specialty Foods, in collaboration with Community Board 2 and the Point Community Development Center, distributed 2,000 packaged holiday dinner meals to south Bronx residents and families at the Point.Org Headquarters, 940 Garrison Avenue. The meals, which were donated by vendors Guida Dairies, Rockland Bakery, Westside Foods, Orchid Island, Red Orchard Juices and First Fruits, among others, included all the fixings of a traditional holiday dinner, such as turkey, seasonal fruits and vegetables, dinner rolls, milk, juice and deserts.
