Amira McKee

Amira McKee is an editorial intern at the Bronx Times. As a second-year student at Columbia University, Amira is deputy city news editor at the Columbia Daily Spectator. Much of her writing surrounds community advocacy, with a focus on surveillance, policing and housing and health inequity. Outside of her work, Amira can be found writing, drinking coffee and cooking for friends and family.
