Author speaks about voting rights march to Bronx Charter School for Better Learning students

Bronx Charter School for Better Learning in Baychester hosted a talk by bestselling author Lynda Blackmon Lowery, author of ‘Turning 15 on the Road to Freedom’, who spoke to students about the Selma Voting Rights March of 1965. Lowery was a young person when she marched for voting rights with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The march went from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama.
