Assemblyman Benedetto proclaims Childhood Apraxia of Speech Day in New York State

Assemblyman Michael Benedetto recently presented a resolution to the family of Christopher DeJesus proclaiming Tuesday, May 14 as Childhood Apraxia of Speech Day in the State of New York. Benedetto introduced the resolution on behalf of Michael and Addy DeJesus to bring awareness to Apraxia, a speech disorder which causes children to have extreme difficulty learning to speak. It is among the most severe speech and communication problems for children.
