Birth Announcements

White Plains Hospital announces the following births of new Bronxites:

Brayden Thomas Keane was born on Wednesday, November 30 to parents Andrew and Christina Keane of Edgewater Park. He weighed 9 pounds and 15 ounces.

Amanda Taveras was born on Saturday, December 10 to parents Edit Paulino Perez and Carlos Taveras of Norwood. She weighed 5 pounds and 12 ounces.

Ryan Janes Ramirez was born on Monday, December 19 to parents Donna and Michael of Waterbury-LaSalle. He weighed 8 pounds and 9 ounces.

Bronxite Serves In Japan

Culinary Specialist Seaman Luis Castro is serving aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard which is forward-deployed to Sasebo, Japan, according to the U.S. Navy.

Together As One Nyc

The N.Y.P.D. and the Mayor’s Community Affairs Unit will present an interfaith service on Thursday, January 26 to bring police and various segments of the community together.

Police, clergy, community members, youth and business leaders will met at the Latino Pastoral Center at 14 W. 170th Street from 6 to to 8 p.m. for the service.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Expect reflections, light refreshments and fellowship.
