Hello readers and welcome to another edition of Around Town!
The Throggs Neck Benevolent Association wishes to inform the community of some notable passings:
• Diane McSwigin
• Matthew Kuhl, who passed away after a valiant battle with illness.
• Dave Sheehan, was the beloved husband of his wife Marie for over 50 years. He was the father of Elizabeth, Noreen and David Sheehan, and father-in-law to Kevin and Brenda.
Dave was an amazing grandpa to seven loving grandchildren.
Dave emigrated from Ireland and worked his whole life.
Dave helped pave the way for so many others who came after him, and he instilled a strong work ethic in his children.
He was a loving son, brother and uncle to so many and he was a good countless friend to others.
Dave was a proud Kerryman and Bronxite, a United States Army veteran who fought for his country.
His wonderful sense of humor and Irish wit entertained all who were lucky enough to know him.
He adored his wife Marie, his partner in life, and had a kind word for everyone.
He will be sorely missed.
