The Allerton International Merchants Association honored several local leaders at its sixth Anniversary Gala on Saturday, May at The Sanz Banquet Hall.

Explorer Coordinator police officer Andino accepted the Inspiration Award on behalf of the 49th Precinct Explorers.

This year’s honorees included DSNY First Deputy Commissioner Steve Costas and Inspiration Award recipients Edith Blitzer, Pelham Parkway Neighborhood Association president; Bronx Martial Arts Academy and the 49th Precinct Explorers.
