The Albanian American Open Hand Association hosted a humanitarian fundraiser to provide aid to a family in Kosovan on Friday, June 3 at the Eastwood Manor. Local elected officials and community leaders joined the association in helping Kosovan war veteran, Veli Morina and his family by raising funds to construct a house that meets their basic needs. If interested in helping Morina’s family, visit the association’s Go Fund Me page at www.gofundme.com/7das6bzg.

Edith Blitzer (l), Pelham Parkway Neighborhood Association founder and Andrea Seigel, Pelham Parkway Neighborhood Association president, had a great time at the humanitarian fundraiser.
