NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi held an Albanian American Heritage event on Wednesday, November 20. The event featured Albanian cuisine including burek, an Albanian dish that is similar to pizza. Jacobi, one of the few hospitals in the country which has signage in English, Spanish and Albanian throughout its facility, founded an Illyria family practice for the Albanian community in 1999.
