In honor of National Autism Awareness Month, the 41st Precinct Auxiliary Unit and NYPD CARES co-hosted the fourth annual Autism Awareness Walk on Wednesday, April 17 at 1035 Longwood Avenue. All proceeds raised by the walk will benefit CARES COPS, a nonprofit assisting police officers and community members that have children with special needs, provide awareness, resources and education for special needs.
