2nd Annual Hunts Point Give Back Day

In anticipation for the Thanksgiving holiday, the merchants at the Hunts Point Produce Market hosted the second annual ‘Hunts Point Gives Back Day’ on Saturday, November 12 to provide the community’s neediest members with fresh, healthy, seasonal produce.

Working with the 41st Precinct Community Affairs Unit, local elected officials and the Hunts Point Produce Market’s Next Generation Committee, 2,000 bags containing more than 25,000 pounds of produce was distributed.
