P.S. 36 students from class 2-211 and their teacher, Mrs. Gallo celebrated Earth Day on Friday, April 28 by walking to the Bronx Field Support Center to recite the poem, ‘Trees’ by Harry Behn.
The students were welcomed by the Bronx Field Support Center and its superintendent Dr. Karen Ames of School District 8.
The youngsters served as ambassadors for their school along with their principal Elvira Maresca; science teacher Karen Anderson and paraprofessional Steven Wallace.
