Improvement for HR waterfront announced by BP Diaz

Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr., along with city, state and federal officials, announced the start of construction on projects to make Roberto Clemente State Park’s Harlem River waterfront greener and more storm-resilient at the park on Wednesday, September 23. The project will strengthen the park and surrounding neighborhoods against flooding. It will also renovate the park’s upper plaza to create a more welcoming gateway for the park’s 1.3 million visitors. Diaz provided $1 million in capital funding towards the projects.
