Project must take place during the academic school year of 2008-2009 with a start date of January 28. BCA has scheduled two “How to Apply” workshops to provide assistance with the application forms and to answer any questions.

All applicants must attend one “How to Apply” workshop the dates for which are Tuesday, September 9 and Monday, September 15. Both workshops are being held at Hostos Community College, Room 391, 450 Grand Concourse at 149th Street.

BCA is also holding an Arts-in-Education “Meet & Greet” on Wednesday, September 24, from 4 to 6 p.m., also in Room 391 at Hostos Community College. This Educator/Artist “Meet-and-Greet” offers a great place to network and find possible partners to apply for your 2008/2009 Arts-in-Education Grant. The Meet-and-Greet will include artist demonstrations and will also provide a perfect opportunity for educators and artists to connect and explore the possibilities of collaboration. Admission to the workshops and the meet-and-greet is free. All are welcome.
