The Bronx Veterans Parade Task Team, Inc. hosted its third annual Bronx Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, November 5 in Crotona Park.
The annual event commemorating our nation’s war veterans began with a parade on East 175th Street and Crotona Parkway going toward East 180th Street and the Old West Farms Soldiers’ Cemetery.
A memorial ceremony honoring the country’s fallen service members was held inside the cemetery where veterans gave a 21-gun salute and planted flags at the veterans’ graves.
Participants planted flags by veterans’ graves during the heartwarming memorial.
