Truman High School graduate Tamila Latif-Zade was awarded the 2016 Billie Jean King Junior Achievement Award on Tuesday, August 30 at City Parks Foundation’s annual ‘CityParks Tennis Benefit’ at the United States Tennis Association Billie Jean National Tennis Center. Latif-Zade spent this past summer teaching tennis at Hampton Racquet and has earned a spot as a ball girl for the 2016 U.S. Open.
