Throggs Neck Remembers 9/11

Throggs Neck came together to commemorate 9/11’s 15th anniversary with the annual sunset memorial service near Engine 72 on East Tremont Avenue.

As the sun set on Sunday, September 11, local elected officials, community leaders, families and friends of the deceased offered prayers and laid flowers on a monument to Throggs Neck residents who perished in the attacks 15 years ago.
