The Throggs Neck Merchants Association and Assemblyman Michael Benedetto hosted the annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Gift Giveaway with Santa Claus at the Derosa O’Boyle Triangle on Sunday, December 7. The event featured carolers, a DJ, and a visit from Saint Nick himself. About 1,000 toys, courtesy of the merchants association, were given out to community children.
