Police are investigating a teen who was shot in Melrose last week. According to police, on Tuesday, September 5 at 7 p.m. 40th Precinct police officers responded to Lincoln Hospital for an assault that happened earlier that day. Upon arrival, police encountered the 15-year-old victim who stated he was walking southbound on Morris Avenue when an unknown suspect fired a round striking the victim in the upper right arm. The victim transported himself to Lincoln Hospital where he received medical treatment.
